How to bet on the moneyline and spread

Looking to put money on the Bulldogs and Crimson game but aren't sure how to get started? Here's a quick breakdown. Some of the most common betting types include the moneyline, spread, and over/under. A moneyline bet means that you think one of the teams -- the Bulldogs, for instance -- will win. It's that easy! If the Bulldogs win, and you bet $10 on odds of -110, you'd get $19 back in your pocket. This game doesn't currently have a moneyline, but check back later to see if one is posted.

Spread betting, like betting on the Bulldogs at -3.5, is a tad more complicated. However, in certain situations, it can offer a bigger payout. In this case, the -3.5 means that the Bulldogs must win by at least four points to "cover the spread." If the Bulldogs don't win by at least four points, or lose the game outright, then the Crimson will "cover" the spread, making them the right pick.

Other bets you can make

Wagering on the over/under, or point total, is a much simpler way to bet. Just pick whether you believe the combined score of both teams will be above or below a particular number at the end of the contest. Let's say you bet $10 on the over, with odds of -110. You'd get back $19 if you pick correctly.
